A life I never got...

Well... as most of you already know, I bought full hockey equipment yesterday...
Why? you may ask... well,
I am playing mens drop-in hockey...

Hockey: The sport of my dreams... The sport I have never been able to play, do to setbacks such as... parents having little money and time to support me... AND... well no others but..hahah.
I have wanted to play ice hockey since i was like 7, and my heart died everytime I asked and my parents said no... well... I dont blame them, I know we are a pastor/missionary family, and i know what that means aswell...
Now that I have a good job, and get AMAZING discounts... My dreams are being fulfilled...
I almost have my N... drivers license.
And I am almost graduated...
Now I dont know if hockey is going to be a big part of my life coming out of high school, but I sure as heck hope soo.

I mean, the feeling yesterday of putting on all my equipment... all MY equipment...
and walking around the house... was wierd but amazing to say the least... Not to mention wierd for the other residents of my household. :P

But hockey is from 11am-12:45, mon-fri.... now i dont need or want to go to 5 days in a row... but
that is just when it happens... I will probly go 2 days a week.
but I am SOOO excited!

But other than that exciting news, school is school and is boring, I learned about psuedostratified squamous epithelial tissue today, If you knew what that was without looking it up, I applaud you, but if you looked it up and said you knew what it was, You're a cheater and you know where you are going.
Work, is.... going... ha, kind of dead in the store but there are lots of changes going on, like bringing all the ski's out! YAY! Ski season... speaking of ski season, I didnt get a pass this year and dont think i will be going even once haha, maybe free day... but my snowboard is too small.

God is soo good, and dont you let anyone tell you otherwise, and dont let anything,(sports, entertainment, your job, your school, your boyfriend/girlfriend) not anything, get in the way of you and God, he holds your life, he can take it, and bless it whenever he feels necessary. He knows what is best for you, and what hurts you... and he doesnt ever try to hurt you, he just teaches you lessons. He is your closest friend, companion, and mentor. Spend time with him, like you do with your friends... I know I dont spend enough time with him, but atleast I acknowledge that I need to spend more time with him, and I am working towards it!
I love my heavenly father with all my heart!

Huh, I never knew that your love of hockey was so intense. Cool.
At times you do show some signs of hockey brilliance, so I won't feel the need to wish you good luck adapting to "real" hockey, as I'm sure you'll kick buttocks.

I hope you are not scarred too badly for life by your parents. I have to wait till heaven to get that little acreage with a white picket fence around it - I let go of that dream quite a few years ago. But I do hope you enjoy hockey and I hope you know that I love you with all my heart.

Awesome dude! that's cool, everything about your post. :) Loved how you closed it. It's good to give God the glory for the things you enjoy doing. :) So good...

I'll have to come watch you skate around sometime! :D

Just so you know, "xdqwej" is my word verification.
