Christmas.

Soo I totally didn't realize it but... that last post was my one hundredth. Curse my incompetence!

Speaking of Christmas...
I don't like this time of season.
I hate Christmas shopping. I enjoy giving presents to others though haha.
I am already tired of Christmas music.
Why Red and Green?
Why do people buy soo many presents and such high costs for their Kids. Holy Smokes!

I am working alot right now. Which I like. Seems the more I work the easier my job is... hmm...
It is soo busy in the mall. I am not getting paid enough for what I do. I have been in the top 5 sellers the past couple days out of like 20... and I guarantee you I get paid the least. But whatever its just a job, and I don't need oodles of money soo.

I like cookies though....

I am slowly getting closer to buying my drums. A few more... petty.. paychecks... I don't expect my drums to be even purchased this year... which kind of sucks but whatever.

Soo we are reno-ing are downstairs bathroom. Putting a stall shower in instead of a 4 foot tall bathtub haha.
It is going well so far. My Dad is doing most of it, because he is the least busy cause he is a pastor hahaha. kidding. It was his day off yesterday soo him and Andrew did alot of work. I am at sport Chek for all the afternoons soo I cant help. But we have had some plumbing disasters haha. The pipes were all open down there cause we were trying to figure which pipes came from which bathrooms. Well...we told everyone that we couldn't flush toilets or turn on sinks or showers. Some people forgot. Soo my Dad had a little bit... of.. not soo clean stuff come down into the bathroom. It was not a happy moment in the Geddert household. haha.
The crisis has been averted now.

I am not posting again till after Christmas.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!.. and.. go .. deck your faces.. I mean halls.

Brother

Well... the brother is back, and soo far it has been amazing... we have watched soo much Lost it's not even funny... we finished season two last night. AMAZING. We are going to take a few hours break before starting season 3 though... I mean a few days...
I am soo glad to have Andrew back though. I actually realized how many good times we've had in the past soo. We shall have them again.
He is taking December off before finding a job... just because it wouldnt be smart to start a job when you have to ask for half the first month off.. and because he is tired.
It is hard to get school and stuff done with him lazying around :D buuuutt... I manage.

Work is picking up, I am working 3 full shifts this week... and possibly more the next couple weeks. Everyone is in shopping mode already which kind of bugs me.... but.. I gotta do my job eh?
This year our family is not doing presents again. Just stockings... we are giving the money that would have been presents to a good cause.

Is it just me or are some teenagers sooo stupid. :D Take facebook for example...
WHY in the world..... would you post pictures of yourself drinking at a party... just why?
Or other pictures... where we dont see you at your best...
We dont need to see these pictures... and you dont need to show people them... dumb dumb dumb... It makes me very angry.

I am still searching for drums........... grrr

This year... i have decided to learn how to ski.

I have also decided to take up the Cello.... I have no clue where I will get one or how my brain will let me.

.

Well I have realized... I am not a fan of staying up into all hours of the night/morning until my brain is grogged. It is just not for me. It is not fun... K soo its funny when you're really tired you and you say stupid things that nobody else understands or can even comprehend but still.
I had 5 cups of coffee... 2 energy drinks, and who knows what else. :D (meaning, I dont know...)

So the you lock in. yes.
The first half of the night/morning was good... then we played dodgeball which was grand, but tempers started flairing as we all got tired. Not to mention the unhonest kids, who make the game soo much harder.

After that... all people wanted to do was play guitar hero soo... I have become soo tired of GH, it's not even funny.
BUt all the planned events were... awesome to say the least... bowling, love it. Fear factor... I must say though I am a deffinate wimp when it comes to eating unfamiliar things. Yes I am a guy, but I cannot change my innerds... well I could... but, it would get messy.

Pizza... I had one piece... and it wasnt even from my pizza... people were pretty piggish on the pizzas haha. The toppings... meh werent my favourites but, not a big deal.

all in all a wonderful night. besides the lack of sleep.

Tonight I am going to a focus club, Christmas banquet. I will get food, it will be good.

Tommorow, I am delivering my drums to max's house. I will miss them, they are my first and only kit soo far. Take care my precious.

I slept two hours this afternoon... I am trying to hold out till tonight. Soo I stay on track.

Well i must go and get ready for things.

Farewell, my lovely bloggers.

Not Good.......

Well, i am not doing soo well.
I am soo angry at school... it is stupid...
I dont want to do it anymore.

but other than that... I am AMAZING!... hehe

Soo I was reading a certain someones blog about earl grey tea...and I realized i havent had tea in a while... I had gotten out of the habit of 3 cups in the morning...
Soo I boiled a pot... yes I stuck a pot in water and boiled the pot.
K I boiled some water... and ya ,had me 3 cups of earl grey this morning.

I have been looking at some shnazzy drumsets over the past couple of days... if you didnt know I am selling mine and getting newer, better... bigger... cooler... awesome-r...double bass-e-r drums...ya.
Selling mine to Max hayes hehe. awesome.
But I realized drums are much more expensive than I thought and what they used to be. hmm.
I will possibly pay 2-3 times as much as what I paid for the ones I have.
But oh... the new ones are going to be stylish...

Notice all the pedals on the floor... hehehehehehehe.

Well sorry to say but this is not the kit I am getting buuuut... something close to it....

Kidding... hehe

This is actually the one I really want...

;P

I am sure I will find something in between these two that will suffice.

ACTUALLY I have decided to spend my money on a new guitar...

YAY! glad we can agree.

Well.... enough shenanagins!

9 Times

Well today... I MADE COOKIES... hehe

I have to say the funnest part of making chocolate chip cookies(CCC's) is eating half of the dough while rolling it onto cookie sheets... delicious.
Now I normally don't like to make CCC's because of how boring they are. But I was craving them pretty bad.

Today Lanny, my parents, and I got our picture taken for a news article about Samaritans Purse Shoe Boxes... The article, which was done by Rebekah Hammond might I add... was accepted by The Daily News paper and will be seen on Wednesday I believe.
WHICH, might I add, makes me even more of a celebrity. This marks down the 9Th time I have been in the paper since I lived in Kamloops, not to mention one TV add for the BC games. I mean... the paparazzi are just all over me. Like.... ya. Most of the other pictures of me have to do with sports... Gymnastics, Diving, and even one of me rollerblading at McArthur island... now.. coincidence.... I think NOT.

Uh...huuuuuuuuh!

Well the basement now looks like a suite! fridge, freezer, tv, computer, 5 instruments, a couch...ans soon a microwave and possibly a toaster oven.
Hot froot loops! it looks good!
Today i played some drop in hockey with mu dad... and destroyed the basement for 6 hours this afternoon and night! Getting ready for Andrew to come home... and getting my moms bookstore shelves out.

Last night I took Lanny to see the Blazers game... well we lost 5-2 but as Lanny said... "even if we loose... it's still fun to go to games, right?"
hah awesome.
We had chicken strips, rootbeer, and fries, while enjoying watching the blazers.

Same work shifts this week... they will change to extended hours next week... soo I will work 3-10 on tuesdays, and possibly add one or two more shifts somewhere along the week. Christmas time is always busy, soo I will stay focused on selling and will never be bored. yay! It will be hard though seing everyone buying Christmas gifts and OVERloading on their mastercards haha. Our family I think is only doing stockings this year and will possibly be giving what would have been our Christmas present money... to some organization.

I am selling my drumkit in 2 weeks and will be looking for a new one, hopefully with double bass and the whole cabootle! Hopefully in the 500-800$ mark...

I am also hopefully splitting car insurance with Andrew when he gets back... which will be fantastic.

Soo I want all of you... to keep me accountable for not spending money on un-needed things...i.e eating out, cd's, helping homeless people get a meal... ok I am kidding with that last one, encourage me to do that... but anything not needed just punch me in the face and say... "Nay Nay!" Thanks.

Smoked out!

Monday a bunch of us men went out into the wilderness to seek fame, fortune, and smoked out eyes and lungs. We succeeded. Now, Scuitto lake isn't the most rugged or inhospitable wilderness we could find, but we found ways of making it a little interesting. This camp out consisted of manly things such as eating with our hands, peeing simultaneously off the same rock, a big fire, manly stories, and sleeping in a van when we could brave the wind chills and snow no more. K so they aren't the manliest things we've ever done and that last one... well not very manly at all but for a short, 16 hour, Remembrance Day camping trip it was quite nice. Tim, Mike, Cade, Behn, Seth, Curtis, Matthew.M, and myself braved the cold winds of a camp out monday night, it was swell. We ate hot dogs, and... well pretty much just ate hot dogs...Built a big fire.. that was soo smokey, even my sleeping bag... which was in the van... now needs to be dry cleaned.
Every room I have been into since I got home, now smells like smoke. I have showered now but, my jacket, 2 sweaters, a knife, and some leftover food are absolutly tainted by smoke, hehe.
From there, Curtis dropped me off at home, where I prepared for work in an hour. Let me tell you, if I hadn't been getting paid time and a half, I would have walked off the job I was so groggy. I am pretty sure I was thinking what to say to my customers and actually saying something else... hopefully they weren't offended.

All in all a good Remembrance Day... I do have to say though, I am not a big remember the war kinda guy. I have pretty much no relatives that actually fought in WWI or WWII that I know of... I am sure being in the war must have been tough though. The veterans have gone through a lot, and probably still do go through a lot.

So I am doing pretty great, have my N, cruisin' around town whenever I want... well not true at all actually... I still have to fight for the only insured vehicle haha. BUT SOON, I will have money and an insured car, and then no money for gas... waaahh us teens can never win can we?
I already feel like the errand boy... after like, a lot of errands... like.... 2 pretty much... hahah
Driving is sooo sweet... I used to not like it but... it is alot of fun. Especially being in the car by myself... I can take corners as fast as safe but not have anyone yelling at me... and turn my music louder than normal. yay!

I went to play drop in hockey on Monday and found out that it was cancelled Monday and Tuesday.. there was a tournament going on. So I stayed and watched for a bit, it was Midget AAA which is 14-17 year olds... pretty much my age. Actually I was pretty impressed... it was very exciting, I would rather watch this than WHL. The guys were pretty good at hockey, pretty good skaters, but there were a lot of turn overs and stuff, I wished I was out there. Someday I will get my chance to play on an actual team. After watching for about an hour, I picked up some pizza from little ceasars and brought it home to my family.

We have just stared some renos in the house, finished some but the best are yet to come. The best news, Lanny has moved from downstairs to upstairs and in 2 and a half weeks, me and Andrew will have pretty much the whole downstairs to ourselves. YAY!!!!! We will be sleeping in my room, and have all our instruments and computers and junk out where my moms bookstore was, which is leaving our family. We are also turning the downstairs bathtub (which has problems) into a shower stall, it will be grand, how are we going to have the money for this?... I have no clue, God will provide as usual. We are going to have the best studio in our downstairs ever... Electric, bass, and accoustic guitars, drums, and a keyboard. Pretty sweet.
I don't know how I am going to do with having another bed in the same room as me... I dont know how Andrew is going to do haha. It should be ok though!

LOST!!!
I am regretting saying... I am in love with this show now........
I know I know very hypocritical of me... But it is amazing.
I used to say it was dumb... but thats just because everyone was raving about it, and I fealt left out haha.
I have borrowed season one... which I have seen 50% of already but it is not good to watch in snippits. Soo I have been exploding through episodes the past couple days.
I love th whole cast... very well picked...
I would have to say my least favourites are Michael, Jin-Soo and Sun,, they have proved to be super annoying soo far... and of course my favourites are Hurley, Locke, and Kate... sometimes Jack... but he can be pretty... know it all...
EXCITING!
I have deffinetly not given up on 24 though, I still love my Jack Bauer... and will never leave him.

Life is awesome! I couldnt ask for more right now, other than my whole family being together... stoked for Christmas. I could possibly use a job change buuuuut... I cant complain about their flexability.

Love you!
stay off the roads! hehehe
You'll be hearing from...

Well as most of you already know, because my mommy spilt the beans... I got my N on Tuesday!
YEEEEES! first try...
I was doing my school on monday and my mom comes into the room and says... well we are booking an apointment for your road test... they have space... December 13 or..... TOMMOROW!
holy cow, holy cow, holy cow, after going into cardiac arrest a few times... yes not just once... but a few times...
I got my nerves together and... TOMMOROW! yes.... soo I did it...
Just about pooped myself on the way to the test...
Anyways... we got there and a girl came in who had just passed her N... I was like yes... good luck... the instructor came in for her... and my dad was like, "ooooh he is "the good" instructor... he is cheerful and always passes people... I was like "Yeeees... he looks like the only instructor in here right now, I deffinetly get him".... EEEHHEHH not a chance... he left...
Then a lady stepped from behind the counter and called my name... Holy crap... it's my turn...
She was fairly old... had a nice smile... we got into the vehicle and started driving and talking... and...
Being a christian and going to church has its benifits... let me tell you haha.
Turns out she went to the alliance church and had been to... china, bangkok... japan... vietnam... and a whole bunch of other places... soo we shared our trip stories with eachother... and the time went by super fast!
Well.. needless to say I botched both my parking jobs but did soo well on shoulder checks and the whole... not going 90 through school zones thing that she gave me my N... and away I left... ready to take on the world of driving!
Got my picture takin... with my amazing black fro.... it will be like that for the rest of my life on my drivers license haha not... but it says hair colour:Sandy... soo I dont really know what police officers are going to say but... I dont plan on being caught by the police.... hehehe!

It snowed... :lD

I am going to get my N in the next month or two... no big rush... I have 80 more years to drive anyways.. and plus... they will invent hovercars and spaceships by the time I am 30 soo.. by then you wont need a drivers license....... or it will take you 10 years to get rid of your N haha.

I dont know what I need... a better job?... to be graduated and free! ha.

I need a hobby... an artsy hobby... other than music, sports, drawing, school, or work... hmmmmmmmmmm that leaves me one thing... sleep! YAY!!!

Skating Scares!

Well... first homeschool skating of the year today... It was pretty awesome!
I took Lanny... and dangled a few little kids!
But one of the kids, Richard... an exchange student from Korea... an exchange student 11-12 ish years old, fell flat on his face playing hockey... and broke his front two adult teeth in half... and of course me being the only.... Adult.... heheh... playing hockey.... had to deal with it! hhhhhhhhhhh
Sooo we gathered the tooth pieces haha and headed over to the moms... all the while Richard staying calm and cool, after getting his face bashed in by solid H2O.
Soo the mother who was housing this child gathered her things and headed... well I dont actualy know where she headed... hopefully not the hospital, probly the dentist... I am sure Richard will be fine. That is the perfect HELLO from us Canadians to the internationals... THIS is how you play hockey... blood, sweat, and no tears.

On the other hand... I GOT A CAR!!!!!!!!!! Heck yes now all I need is an N hahaha... I am such a wiener.
Our family just bought the Baergs old yellow car from them... and I get to drive it until I either pay for it, or it breaks haha. I might share it with Andrew when he gets back... unless he gets something new and... not shared haha!

Well that's all folks!

not really...

The Canucks won tonight.... HECK YA!!

Whhhhhhindsday!

Well, made myself a mint hot chocolate today... quite tasty... I spruced it all up with toppings and whip cream. mmmmmmm, warms me up.

I was sitting on the computer today and Lanny comes roaring into the room.
"AAhh, Josh... there is a massive black widow in the bathroom."

"Noo, there isnt, Lanny, you dont even know what a black widow is..."
Check the room, nothing there.

an hour later... I totally forget about it. I go into the bathroom, about to sit down...
"Holy mother!"
Big spider on the floor in front of me. Have to postpone that dump... haha grab my camera... the picture makes it look small but it's bum was as big as my thumb. Creepy. I put it in a jar, examined it for a bit, then threw it outside. Pretty interesting.

Today... has been... a wednesday.
I am thankful for fresh flanel sheets on my bed, mmmm.
Music
And Cool weather.

New CD! and new look on the week!

Well... before work today, I went in to Play in the mall... and had fun! I jumped, skipped, threw things around... HA!

K, I went into the store PLAY looking to buy 2 new cd's, Rise Against: Appeal to Reason and Senses Fail: Life is not a Waiting Room. but found out their shipments had been delayed... Both of the cd's came out today... and they wont be in for a few days. Which was kind of good, because I bought a differant cd instead... Anberlin's new cd New Surrender... a chirstian band, very good!

I had a wonderful day! Did my school dilligently this morning like a good Geddert always does :D
Went to work... which was boring... Put out stock the WHOLE night... then went and worked out at the fitness centre... Ya know... Worked out... sounds like I am some macho body builder or something... haha I like to think I am macho buuuuuut.:P
I go to keep my heart in shape! riiiiiiiiight!
I actually go to stay toned, looking good, cardio-vascularly fit, and get my lung copacity up!.... seriously.
My dad bought me starbucks on the way home, which I fealt bad about because we are a poor missionary family... but he wanted to treat me for taking care of lanny!
I am freaking wired right now! wow... I normally am not effected by caffeine... but a grande caramel machiotto really does the trick hahah!

I was kind of low beginning this week! shaping up now... It truly does work to keep God on your mind... Like proverbs 3:5 says... "Trust in the lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight."

My eye is still bruised and swollen... it's awesome, I am very proud of this wound... I took on the sign with such vigor and ferocity! hahaha
It was SOOO annoying explaining what happened to myself, at work today... I really wanted to say a fight, or hockey, or a riot at the Pro-life chain but no.... Smacked in the face by my own sign OK! geez hahaha soo good!

Weeelll let me tell you about Rise Against, the band.
Not the most uplifting music buuut, musicly, melodicly appealing to my ears.
All of the bands members are strict vegetarians... they all support PETA aswell... haha
only one or two of you will even know what that is soo...
It's People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals...
There lead singer Tim McIirath has what is called Heterochromia,
Which is most specificly a differance in coloration, usually in the Iris, but also in hair and skin.
It is a result of the relative excess or lack of melanin.
In this case... He has one blue eye and one brown eye... kinda creepy I know... but very interesting... I wish it was me! hahah.
Anyways Tim McIirath, when he was a teen... all his friends were into snowboarding... so he saved up his money to buy a 400$ snowboard... which is expensive for back in the early 90's
On his way to the snowboard shop... he passed a guitar shop... looking in, he fell in love with a 1984 cherry red Gibson SG and bought it, thus starting his musical career. Now an accomplished musician, singer, and probably somewhat rich!

On another note... The vancouver Canucks are going to pown this season!

Well... time to head out!

I shall leave you with Breathe by Anberlin... he has kind of a girly voice but I enjoy it! very much!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqGoM91rySM

I have yet to figure out how to post youtube videos actually on my page... hmm, yay for lack of knowledge!

Love you all!

Attacked!

Well, Went to the Pro-Life chain today on columbia street...
It started out just cold and dark...
Then It got colder and darker...
And then blustery, and cold and dark...
Then wet and blustery and cold and dark!

Well, I was holding my sign... and some dude ran me over in his car! and hit me in the face...
Kidding!

Actually... someone fingered me and then attacked me....

Kidding!

Well I was holding my sign and a gust of wind came and my sign hit me in the face...
Me, being cold, wet, and numb... didnt really think about it... It kinda hurt but was just annoying.
Well, then I felt it and there was a bump... well didnt really think about.

Got into the vehicle... looked in the rear view mirror, and just about died... Swollen, bruised, puffy, and just plain wierd looking. A blue bulbous on the side of my face!

It has died down a little bit tonight but is still broooodle!... it hurts now that it isnt numb!

That is my exciting news for the day!

Church, Pro-Life chain, Xbox.... well rounded day! :P
I really did not want to go to Counter Culture tonight for some reason unexplainable... It just didnt seem appealing!
Worship this morning at church was fun and I think sounded good... I am always too loud though!
I am still recovering from a McDonalds lunch! but... I will never learn my lesson!
I am playing hockey again tommorow! With my Daddy! yay!

Probly wont go to volleyball... once again, doesnt sound appealing!

I need some good music!
If you have cd's you want to lend me.... tell me, I would like them!
I am bord of what I have, and my parents have smacked down on the "No Downloading" rule again! YAY!
I also dont want to spend 20$ on a new cd.... which brings up a good topic...
CD's are freaking expensive...... If artist dont want us downloading... why dont they make their cd's a little cheaper! Gosh!
I have spent way to much on cd's in my life!
Between me and Andrew... the cd's in my room probly amount to.......? I am not telling, cause it's embarrasing! But I do know and estimate... it's... HA, still not telling!

I have nothing to write about in english... Any ideas? I hate writing just soo you know.
Not because I dont like it.... hahahaha that made no sense what soo ever!
Because it takes too long!
If I could just think of stories... and they would be magically transformed into writing form on a computer, through brain waves.... It would be coolio with me-lio!
I like the look of my handwriting... not my printing... my printing is the ugliest!

I am learning about tissue in biology... it's pretty fun... loads of info in too little time though...

anyways... it's bedtime!

A new week... bringing new Joys and new pains.... Exciting!

Pray that I am motivated for bringing glory to God, and nothing else!

Hockey is Awesome!

A life I never got...

Well... as most of you already know, I bought full hockey equipment yesterday...
Why? you may ask... well,
I am playing mens drop-in hockey...

Hockey: The sport of my dreams... The sport I have never been able to play, do to setbacks such as... parents having little money and time to support me... AND... well no others but..hahah.
I have wanted to play ice hockey since i was like 7, and my heart died everytime I asked and my parents said no... well... I dont blame them, I know we are a pastor/missionary family, and i know what that means aswell...
Now that I have a good job, and get AMAZING discounts... My dreams are being fulfilled...
I almost have my N... drivers license.
And I am almost graduated...
Now I dont know if hockey is going to be a big part of my life coming out of high school, but I sure as heck hope soo.

I mean, the feeling yesterday of putting on all my equipment... all MY equipment...
and walking around the house... was wierd but amazing to say the least... Not to mention wierd for the other residents of my household. :P

But hockey is from 11am-12:45, mon-fri.... now i dont need or want to go to 5 days in a row... but
that is just when it happens... I will probly go 2 days a week.
but I am SOOO excited!

But other than that exciting news, school is school and is boring, I learned about psuedostratified squamous epithelial tissue today, If you knew what that was without looking it up, I applaud you, but if you looked it up and said you knew what it was, You're a cheater and you know where you are going.
Work, is.... going... ha, kind of dead in the store but there are lots of changes going on, like bringing all the ski's out! YAY! Ski season... speaking of ski season, I didnt get a pass this year and dont think i will be going even once haha, maybe free day... but my snowboard is too small.

God is soo good, and dont you let anyone tell you otherwise, and dont let anything,(sports, entertainment, your job, your school, your boyfriend/girlfriend) not anything, get in the way of you and God, he holds your life, he can take it, and bless it whenever he feels necessary. He knows what is best for you, and what hurts you... and he doesnt ever try to hurt you, he just teaches you lessons. He is your closest friend, companion, and mentor. Spend time with him, like you do with your friends... I know I dont spend enough time with him, but atleast I acknowledge that I need to spend more time with him, and I am working towards it!
I love my heavenly father with all my heart!

Rockband 2... and..? medieval dinners..?

Well last night I went to Curtis Allens house, (he is currently staying at his grandmas) and the Andrews, Amanda, David, Curtis, and I had a little rockband 2 party, as it just came out two days ago! It is awesome...
Pretty much the same game, except, a little better graphics, and all new songs...
They have a bit of a cooler world tour, because you get to hire new crew bembers and cool stuff like that.
Probly some of my favourite songs... well i havent played too many but, I do enjoy Down with the sickness by disturbed... terrible song but fun to play and listen to. I enjoy the Nirvana song, and some others like Linkin Park.
Yeppers.
BUT! I think i still enjoy the guitar hero interface, hammer ons, and song choices... soo I am excited for Guitar Hero:World Tour

Well work today was pretty insane... I had top sales in the store... and was well over my budget... The time just flew by... Lots of people buying hockey skates... I am soooo excited for this year of hockey... NHL, and playing shinny... And if you havent heard I am planning on doing drop-in adult hockey... it's monday-friday 11-12:45 ...5$ a time... soo I am hoping to go like 2 times a week... SOO EXCITED... which means that in the next one or two paychecks I have to get full equipment... which is soooooo AWESOME.... I have never had my own equipment let alone been in full equipment...sooo. I get it insanely discounted from sport chek soo I am wow... I cant even explain my excitement...

Tonight we had Medieval meal... Lanny has been learning about the middle ages in school and it is tradition in our family to have a dinner that is a traditional to the time period we are studying in history!
Soo i got dressed up when i got home from work, into a medieval outfit... it was for lanny soo I had to be a good sport about it, anyways, lanny was dressed up, and we brought swords to the table... we ate with our hands... had no plates, cutlery, or lighting, only candles. We had pretty cool food... home made noodles, pork chops, fresh green beens, rye bread. No napkins...
It was pretty sweet... Lanny got mad at me when i took butter with my crazy knife, he said that the knife wasnt clean, well then i had to tell him about how nothing was sanitary back in the middle ages haha.
My mom bought Ginger Beer... soo we all got drunk hahaha kidding it's not alcohalic...
It was the grossest thing i have ever tasted... I have had other ginger beers but not as gross as this one.... it was traditional carribean style, and probly the spicyist thing that has ever gone down my throat.... haha.

Well.... I am in a good mood!

Got all my school done today!

Well.... I am out of hear for now!

Is this life?

Well... I have careened my way through another week, only to find I am brutly tired, and exhausted. If this lasts the whole year... it will be awesome. I have things to do, goals to accomplish, and fun to be delve into. This week consists of school, work, and whatever fun things I would like to do along the way. I am going to Focus Club this week, and if I say otherwise, please smack me in the face!... no seriously,... smack me in the face. Like walk up to me, lift your arm, pull it back, and swing it forward into my face!

Well paintball today was AWESOME as usual...
Hockey Friday night was ok, only ok, because i hate the place we play, why? it's too long, the nets are too big, and the gravel is to hard to stick handle on! HA
The party yesterday was Awesome aswell, it's been a while since, we played a massive game of badminton!

We have had 2 dvd players break in our house in the past 2 weeks haha, pretty intense. Soo I have moved my PS2 upstairs for dvd viewing and playing guitar hero!

Well... nothing good to say!
No one cares what I write anyway...

Conniving Knife Saleswomen And Deranged Dental Technicians... and possibly a very intriguing bible story.

Soo to start my day, an unexpected dentist appointment ... hurgle!
I drove down to the north shore, in the van, with Liz and my Father. It was a bit of a groggy trip, wasnt really awake but I managed... didnt hit any old people or careen into any buildings soo all went well. Until I got into the dentists' office. To find, to my dismay... a new dental hygenist...
The one I normally have is on maturnity leave... so, good for her, but I am left with the... shall I say, inexperianced. I cant remember her name, except that if I could I would... well I dont know what I would do, but probly shout it very loudly. She was old, a little wrinkley, and all around a nice person, but we all know dentists change once your in their seat! hehehe
And soo it began,
"So, my name is _____ and I am your new hygenist. All we are going to do today is check your teeth and give them a polish."
"Oh Hey..." I garggled as she had already shoved some instrument into my mouth.
Little did I know that this "check up" would be a roller coaster ride of pain, bad memories, and blood.
She peered through her glasses, and into my mouth... finding not too much to convict me about.
SQUISH! the little poker thingy ( I'd like to find out what those things are called soo when I am Prime Minister, I will enlargen them and use them on dentists across the globe) stabbed into my gums with such ferocity that both my legs kicked upwards, obviously not noticing, she proceeded. Poking and prodding in and out of my gums and teeth, until all i'm left with is a bloody stump of?... not gums but... pretty much just cells....
Now, you've all been to dentists... and we all know how hard it is to talk with the widgets crammed in our mouths. Most of the time they understand us, but some times it is a misunderstanding of such proportion that it would put even George W.Bush to shame. ( he said MISUNDERESTIMATED in one of his speachs once... deffinetly not a word..)
ANYWAYS.
I was frozen. now when dentists torture me, I normally dont complain... like the last dentist post I had on here.
Soo I didnt this time... But honestly, can they not see that my gums are splirting blood all over the place... my body jerkes up and down everytime they poke. And that my face is bursting blood vessels.
And so I endured it.
Then came the chloride... WOW! I normally get the foam stuff that goes into the yucky foam caps, that leave a disgusting texture on your mouth. Well she didnt know... soo she gave me the liquid.. mint. Then came the projectile vommit. then.......
kidding about the vommit... I was done.
Then just to make things better!....
"Let me get you a new tooth brush, new floss, a package of gum, a toy, and a briefcase full of 100 dollar bills, for taking home" She piped up cheerilly.
"Uh... no thanks... I'll just take the floss... I have a good tooth brush at home"
And I scurried out of there as quickly as possible...
"It was nice meeting you! seeya in 6 months" She said with a sadistic grin.
K soo she didn't offer me a briefcase with one hundred dollar bills in it... but it was a terrible dentist experiance, that I am recovering from still.

More adventures with Josh, and his No School Monday... Why? you ask...well... Liz is here and... well i didnt want to do school hahaha.

Soo there I was, entranced, standing in the men's clothes section of Wal-Mart, staring at the crowd of peculiar customers waiting in line at a booth. At the top of that booth, a sign, on that sign the words "FREE" now if you've ever been shopping you know the feeling of seing the red signs that say free... and then some sort of catch in small letters at the bottom of the sign. Well, this sign, in bold letters said "Wait In Line For Your FREE Knife". As you can probly guess, you know who the majority of the crowd will be... moms, grandmas, and... well women, of course the occasional small child that is learning how to read and is male, and sees the word knife and goes "oooooh". But in this case, it was moms and old people haha. All waiting in line, thinking that the knife will just come into there hands and they can run out of the store thinking they've got a deal. Well, then the sales person arrives... not your typical salesperson, a women hehe....... if you didnt laugh... it was a sexest joke that women are incapable of doing anything other than cooking, cleaning, and well you know the other one but this is a G rated blog soo. ANYWAYS.
The salesperson was a woman... dressed in a suit. Now... I thought women knew fashion well, let me tell you something haha. I wont bash women anymore... They are wonderful creations from God and we wouldnt survive without them. Soo she was in a suit, not just any suit but the kind where you look at them and projectile vommit again all over the shnazzy clothes rack you're leaning on. A red, gray, and black striped suit jacket, probly from value village... which means from the 80's... and black dress pants. Her hair style was... well interesting to say the least ( I am not judging by any means:P)
ANYWAYS.
She started her selling that day in Wal-Mart... and did a fine job of it. The knives she sold were... Amazing! I am aloud to say that... because well... knives are cool.
But the packages she sold... 28.99$ for a whack load of knives(28.99 each(3), two pearing knives 20$ each, a fishing knife 40$, two little juicer thingy's 5$ each, and a pair of eversharp, the original amazing scissors 20$) all for 28.99$. almost 200$ in products.
And she sold them left, right, and centre. But I watched her... oooh did I watch her... and like all creepy saleswomen, she had that look in her eye, that look that says "I am holding some sort of information back from you, vital information... but you can TRUST ME!"
Fortunetly my mother was not in that crowd of people... and fortunetly our family is as cheep as missionaries right now... or I would have done some persuasion myself for my mother to buy them. Hehe. BUT! I realized we don't need them, and I can bet that all the people there didnt need them, but just the need to have the best, drove them into the sale. Mwahaha!
Soo I got sick of the drama and left Wal-Mart.

All in all an amazing Monday.
Now enough laughter and exaggeration.

Liz you are my favourite sister... Love you!

Now a bit about my school.
I am doing a bible study book right now, that is focusing on Psalms and Proverbs
And as it is going through Psalms it is telling the background for each Psalm. And almost everyone of them is based off of Samuel... well obviously because that is when David lived... but still, almost all of them actually has to do with a certain section in 1st Samuel.
Check this out...
There is some death, soo be warned... well alot of death actually. I just found this whole thing fascinating... The connections between Samuel and Psalms.

In 1 samuel 21 David meets Ahimelech the priest in Nob... David needs some food... Ahimelech gives him the holy bread because there was nothing else. David then asks for a sword... because he lost his or something. Ahimelech has the sword of Goliath which was being held at this temple.
So Ahimelech gives the sword to David. Saul, who was trying to kill David at the time, had his chief herdsman Doeg at this temple and he overheard all this and thought it was a plot to kill Saul. So Doeg goes to Saul and tells all. But lying, says that Ahimelech helped David in his plot to kill Saul. Soo Saul calls for Ahimelech and his family who were priests at Nob aswell. With alot of anger, Sauls yells at Ahimelech, "why have you helped my enemies try to kill me... blah blah blah
wimper wimper."
Ahimelech " I have not, surely you know that David is more trustworthy than anyone you know"
Saul... more angry shouting... " You shall surely die for this"
So Saul tells his guards to kill Ahimelech and his family... and they refuse.
Then Saul tells Doeg, the chief herdsmen, and traitor, “You do it.” So Doeg the Edomite turned on them and killed them that day, eighty-five priests in all, still wearing their priestly garments. Then he went to Nob, the town of the priests, and killed the priests’ families—men and women, children and babies—and all the cattle, donkeys, sheep, and goats.
An evil evil man, only doing his evil Kings request.

Which brings us to Psalm 52, Now that we know the background of this Psalm... Go read it in your own bible and then read this story again. Sick! but very interesting.

Soo this brings the conclusion to my blog post, and if this is not worthy of atleast 5 comments... I dont know what is.!

Thank you all!

I feel soo terrible for asking for soo much time off this year, but whatever, they're the ones that keep giving me time off haha.
Had a nice run in the nice sun, listening to nice music... that's alot o' bland, descriptive words.
Mowed the lawn.
Played lego with Lanny, and built him an egyptian/Darth Maul/palm springs setting. haha
Played scramble with mommy.

Now youth tonight, should be splendid!

All in all a greatifidous day.

Please pray for a clear mind, pure thoughts, patience, and actions that honour God.

Weekly

Well this week i work...
Monday: 11:30-7
Friday: 3:30-10
And Saturday: 10:30-7 which will suck!

Tonight after work i am going to play volleyball 7-9, with the counter culture peoples, and i guess some more... should be fun, i am starting to enjoy volleyball more and more.

Nothing much else this week,
we are going to visit liz in 2 and a bit weeks... should be fun, i miss her a lot.

Um... recording some songs for the summer on my computer... i'm pretty terrible but w.e. i am just starting. Finished 2 with Matt.M but i wont show them for a while and got 3 ish in the works... i am excited! :D

Well, counter culture last night was amazing!
Do you know how long it's been since i have heard good live worship, o my goodness! It was amazing, and i realize how much of a differance it makes, to truly worship, when it actually sounds good.
Lyle is hilarious, and i am starting to think that i enjoy Pentacostals a lot!
Sitting through our Valleyview worship times, is agony, honestly, i would rather stick a cheese grater on my face, than listen to 5 hymns i've never heard, done country style!
I enjoy pastor Dan very much, and of course my Dad, and all my friends, but is it because of my friends that i actually go to valleyview? Maybe I need to do some searching in the next little while! just maybe!

Well, off to get ready for the day, and work, talk to you either tonight! or the next couple days!

-Josh-
Peace out brothas!
Love you all as my brothers and sisters in Christ!

p.s. I may still post my journal from Haiti, but i am having second thoughts about it when i could just tell you in person!

I am actually excited for next school year... Grade 12 i have some pretty good subjects some bad
But grad should be exciting... and i am just excited to advance more...

Well...

ya... i really dont have anything to say soo...
I will find a joke for you! a funny joke... a bar joke

A Really Bad Day
There was this guy at a bar, just looking at his drink. He stays like that for half of an hour. Then, this big trouble-making truck driver steps next to him, takes the drink from the guy, and just drinks it all down. The poor man starts crying. The truck driver says, "Come on man, I was just joking. Here, I'll buy you another drink. I just can't stand to see a man cry.""No, it's not that. This day is the worst of my life. First, I fall asleep, and I go late to my office. My boss, outrageous, fires me. When I leave the building, to my car, I found out it was stolen. The police said that they can do nothing. I get a cab to return home, and when I leave it, I remember I left my wallet and credit cards there. The cab driver just drives away.""I go home, and when I get there, I find my wife kissing the gardener. I leave home, and come to this bar. And just when I was thinking about putting an end to my life, you show up and drink my poison."

KK so that was VERY CHEEZY but i laughed!

Psalms 139

Soo lately I have been reading the psalms just because most of them are happy and I needed to praise God for everything. I think is was about time that I stopped praying for God to change things and thank him for already doing things.
I am only 20 psalms in but I read psalms 139 today because it is great. I am not going to post it... it's pretty long for a blog and plus all of you have bibles and can look it up yourselves.
It is a psalm praising God for creating us and how wonderfully he has created us... soo I wrote in my journal my own little praise to him about these things. After i had finished reading and writing i was filled with an immense amount of joy and all i could do was sing praises to God... soo i sang... and sang and sang.

I suggest all of you reading psalms 139 and to write about it... and sing.

psalm 139 verse 8-10
8. If i go up to heaven, you are there;
if i go down to the place of the dead, you are there.
9. If i ride the wings of the morning, if i dwell by the farthest oceans,
10. even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me.
11. I could ask the darkness to hide me
and the light arouind me to become night
12. but even in darkness I cannot hide from you.
To you the night shines as bright as day.
Darkness and light are both alike to you.

14 days until we leave for Haiti... I am soo excited...
need to pray alot before we go.

May 22 2008...

Scorching hot Guatemala on May 22, 2008 Purulha, a small school of 200 poverty stricken children, a pinata is being torn apart in celebration of a gringos'(white American) 10th birthday. This 10 year old stuck up little princess had decided to, instead of receiving presents, to give needy kids a party they will never forget. She decided to treat them to some candy, fun, and at the of all this give each one of them a present, a teddy bear, or maybe some skipping ropes. Through all of this a 16 year old boy stands with tears in his eyes, 5 young snobby nosed boys clinging to his legs, he thinks of how greedy and selfish he's been over the years, and then it hits him, a feeling of joy that these kids can have this much fun with what they've got... "why can't i be this joyful with what I've got?"
Then something else hits him... this time a soccer ball in the back of the head, then a barrage of 3 more balls go flying overhead. "These kids are so uncoordinated with their kicks, pff!" he laughs "but they sure know how to have a good time!" so he joined them, weaving in and out of the kids with a soccer ball. And they played into the night. He had learned a valuable lesson that day, to not take for granted what he had, when there are kids all over the world with next to nothing.

Sunday.

Well unfortunetly feels like i am back into the same old dumb routine...

But i have changed... i see things differantly... I like to just sit and think more about how God works in the funniest and coolest ways... and how he is shaping me into some good person...wiiierd haha.

I wish i could say i was all good but... have my faults...

One thing God taught me down in Guatamala is that i should not be ashamed of how i worship...
we would sing songs and it felt like God would poke me in the belly and say "Get your arms up and worship me properly!"...it felt like God was just everywhere when we worshipped...(not like he isnt everywhere as it is...haha) I told myself i would change my worship style when i got back and i would listen to God for what to do...
But i get here and it's the exact same boring worship as it was before i left... it is soo hard to worship or hear God when you cant stand the music....aha..

Inbetween missions trips is hard... i feel like i should always be doing something helpful and being useful to everyone...

We went to the park today after church... Kelsey,Nadine,Cade,Hannah,Max,Alex, and I
To sing music and raise um... change for Haiti...
Well it was gloomy and i think about 10 people passed us while we were sitting half singing half mumbling half figuring what songs to play.
Then most of the people... excluding me,Max, and Alex..
went around the park playing music... i didnt want to play guitar cuz i cant... and the drums we had were behns but i am sorry they were lame.
Didnt want to sing...cuz...cuz... um people would hear me. ya.

Ended up with $2.25 i believe...

Then some guy that max worked with... came with his bongo drums haha and started playing a bit... he was neat.
He saw the songs we had lying around and kinda looked uncomfortable but what ever... we showed Gods love by accepting him... and inviting him to Zacks... which he didnt stay for very long. But maybe we impacted him... we may never know.,

Matt.M was not himself today... i am kinda worried about you buddy... cheer up... or call me soo i can cheer you up.

Well i dont work till saturday holy wow... s'long way away... but i am not looking forward to it...for some reason i dont feel like selling stuff to people that dont need it and probly have five of it already........hhhhh

I am supposed to play drums for church on sunday... i think i will accept...
Max is having a band practice haha and said i could play drums for them...
Cade and matt and i reeeally need to practice.. . SOO if you want to see The Waking Wounded or Radio Active Poop perform you better tell cade to lead his band and get his buns in gear...

4 more weeks of hard school and grade 11 is over... feels like growing up is coming too fast... grade 12 next year holy cowadge
Grad should be pretty darn sweet.... what kind of tux should i wear?

Have a good week you people.

-Josh-
Love you

Poem thingy

Heres a little poem i wrote today...

Music

Music, binds us, sears us, finds us.
Rhythmic, pumping, beating our heads.
Sensational harmonious euphony.

Symphonious, this art that captures us.
Calling to us it says “listen to me,
love me, hate me, kill me.”

The flowing of notes mesmerizes
my body, already entwined
with its beautiful melody.

Notes long, some short.
Some like drizzle, others like thunder.
Sensational harmonious euphony

One note can cause serenity.

-Josh-
do not steal my stuff please :) joshwritingstuffcopyright 2008 hehe

Dukaral burps. eww.

So this morning our family took our first dosage of dukaral, which is very disgusting if you were wondering. It tastes like the word disgusting haha.
So this morning i have been burping the most disgusting burps ever. One of the side effects is burping haha.

Doing school right now, and listening to Kamelot who is amazing by the way. I am also listening to all my favourite disney songs haha, mulan, Lion king, alladin. Also Sweeney Todd but i highly doubt that is disney, it is probly my favourite soundtrack ever besides mulan and lion king.

I learned today in biology that the heart pumps 2000 gallons of blood a day, and about 680,000 gallons a year. WOW. that is a massive amount.

Que Pasa?

First i would just like to say props to Alex, Matt, Rebekah, Kelsey, and Meghan
for playing the duet (but not a duet:D)
on sunday, it was very beautiful and made my mothers day... aswell as a few other mothers i bet.
Good to see you all using YOUR TALENTS!!!!! haheha

Well i hope i have some good spanish learned... probly not.
But our family leaves for Guatamala on friday afternoon, we will be there for 9 days but 2 traveling days so. 11. Working with the Peters and their crew.

I just realized how much of a freakin tan i am going to have this year, holy. Guatamala +25-40 degrees
Haiti +30-40billion degrees...
Summer camp, +25-35.

All with lots of physical activity, so pray i dont die of every imaginable heat stroke, sun stroke, headache, migrain and CANCER out there.

So i just got my acceptance letter from camp, yippee... should be loads of fun, and experiance.
Lets see last year i had to deal with broken ankles, dislocated fingers, kids that wont listen no matter what, spiritual growth (haha sounds like a bad thing eh! i grew alot with God there) and all that camp junk.
Hopefully this year is just as exciting.

This week is not a new week if you were wondering... i usually say its a new week but this week is not new.
It happened before.... for like 4000 years but whatever...

Soo hear are some facts about the 132nd day of the year.
1780 - American Revolutionary War: Charleston, South Carolina is taken by British forces.
hahah i dont know why i put that but...haha.
1941 - Konrad Zuse presents the Z3, the world's first working programmable, fully automatic computer, in Berlin.
1965 - The Soviet spacecraft Luna 5 crashes on the Moon.

those were pretty lame but it's not the coolest day anyways haha.

Here are some births.
1961 - Billy Duffy, British guitarist (The Cult)
1966 - Stephen Baldwin, American actor
1968 - Tony Hawk, American skateboarder

the others were dumb and i had no clue who they were soo obviously they weren't important (hehe)

Today for me.
Woke up at 8 had breakfast, got ready for the day.
Chores this morning (s'been a while)
Then some school, lunch.
Then i took my dad to his odd errands... i drove for a good 45 minutes.
Went to the doctors office to pick up our drugs for all our trips.
Malaria pills for...well... um... i think hep b haha MALARIA!!
and Dukaral for stomach deseases while we are there.

Then i comed home ha, and now tonight i am free.
So call me to do something... (you wont)

Well blogs i guess are for sharing feelings soo.

Right now my feelings are that i dont want to share my feelings HA!.
People make me happy.

:P

I am very Joyfull, Growing with God everyday...
Learning to respect all...
and appreciate what God has given me (which is way more than i need)
Learning to accept everyone of all races, genders, and level of annoyingness haha (1-10..10 being bad..i would say most of my friends are about a meh... i'll give you a 7 which is pretty gracious:D )

Most importantly i am learning how to properly love.

Well what can i do soo that all of you post on here ... something outragious.
hhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I will show some OUTRAGIOUS HAIRSTYLES YAY!!! UP AT THE TOP!!

A nother week of ear splittin good old fashion life.

Well a new week eh?

Mondays usually bring no school for me... and soo did not bring school... ya.

Instead i went driving for a good old long time, did some chores and hung out with Stevie.(wonder) Warkintine. he showed our family his africa pictures and we played some hockey with lanny.

My week is pretty boring.

ya.

I took alot of pictures of myself today and you may see them on facebook... i guess. they are pretty classy. Tie and all that jazz.

I did some research on Kamloops because i had nothing else to blog about.
Kamloops ("Kamloops" is the anglicised version of the Shuswap word "Tk'emlups", meaning 'meeting of the waters'. Shuswap is still actively spoken in the area by members of the Kamloops Indian Band. Another possible origin of the name comes from the French "Camp des loups" meaning 'Camp of Wolves', likely spoken by fur traders.)
The first European explorers arrived in 1811, and David Stewart set up Fort Kamloops, a fur trading post, on the south side of the river junction for the Pacific Fur Company in 1812.The gold rush of the 1860s and the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway in the 1880s brought further growth, resulting in the City of Kamloops being incorporated in 1893 with a population of about 500.
It is now ranked 37th on the list of the 100 largest metropolitan areas in Canada with 92,882 residents in 2006 (probly more now)
Total visible minority population (excluding Aboriginal peoples): 4,675
South Asian: 1,790 or 1.9%
Chinese: 1,000 or 1.1%
Japanese: 690 or 0.74%
Black: 340 or 0.4%
Filipino: 305 or 0.3%
Southeast Asian: 150 or 0.16%
Korean: 150 or 0.16%
Latin America: 130 or 0.13%
Arab: 35 or 0.03%
West Asian: 30 or 0.03%

This part is a sad excuse on our parts i mean come on.
Religion
35.0% Protestant
19.2% Roman Catholic
6.0% other Christian WOW!! Lame
1.7% Sikh
36.6% Other religion or no religion

DO A BETTER JOB PEOPLE!!!

Its been a while my pachos.

Well... my life is kinda like a pizza... um sometimes there are an insane amount of topings on one side and none on the other... and then there are not very many... and then there are lots... i guess that depends on the type of pizza you order... ok i didn't get where i was going with this but w.e.
My life is pandomonium one week and then secluded the next.

I haven't had time for petty posts soo.

I changed my work schedule soo i only work tuesday and thursday 2-7 pm every week for 3 weeks until Guatamala...

I am hoping to be done school then just because i am busy in june.... i don't know what i am doing but... i don't want to do school :D haha.

School is going good... i am learning about Digestion and it is interesting. I am also doing a not soo good math program... just soo that i can waste time soo that i can do an even stupider math program next year... yay!

Got my recording program almost all figured out... soo that is good... i will probly do some more tonight..

Tonight i am sleeping at matts house... and we are coming to teen class in the morning!

Hockey tommorow better be AMAZING!! or i will eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich

Well... i have nothing else to write about. Other than that i am eloping, but that's just not that high on my writing priorities.

A little school paper i wrote haha a mixure of writing and biology yay!

A little bit of digestion

I take a bite of my savoury spaghetti and the warm tomato sauce makes love to my taste buds. I then chew it by using my teeth as grinders, it leaves the spaghetti chopped and decimated on my tongue, but this still is not enough. The food is sticky and won’t go down, this is where the saliva glands kick in and drench the food until it becomes a ball of sloppy goodness called bolus. My tongue now pushes the bolus to the back of the throat called the pharynx, where the food is prepared for its descent to the depths below. This is a traumatic time for the bolus because it is about to cross the line of no return, if the stomach accepts it, it will never see its home, the throat again. After a slight second of exhilaration, like being at the top of a roller coaster, the bolus plunges down past the epiglottis which is covering the windpipe. It is a bumpy ride now because two sets of involuntary muscles force the food down the esophagus to the stomach by contracting. This process is called peristalsis. In the esophagus and the stomach most of the nutrients are sucked out of the food. Peristalsis also controls the lower digestive tract so that the food can properly get to its final destination and I bet you can guess where that is. This is all in a few minutes work and the body puts up with this a lot in one day so chew slowly and watch what you eat.

Yes that was part of my school.

Hope you like it.

, i did.

Have a loverly day!!

Thank you for putting up with my shinanigins this weekend. You are a valued friend.

Today Worship was amazingly played, but also amazingly sung, but also amazingly written, but also, and most importantly amazingly worshipped.

After waking up at 7:30 to Ryan C knocking at my door saying it was time to go... me and matt got ready in about 8 ish minutes and were still down at the church early... with no breakfast. ehe
Practice was... interesting... being the responsible one hahah, obviously i was doing every thing right and everyone elses brains were messed up. I like to think that's what happened.
Everyone got their brains sorted out by 10 though.
It was a big band today... which was filling... kinda sounds like i ate them eh? well I DID!!!

http://www.myspace.com/thrice

listen to the top 4 but here are the words to Broken Lungs

Woke up to a brand new skyline
We licked our wounds and mourn the dead
Swallow the story hook and sinker
Is that what we meant when we said That we never would forget?

Are we fools and cowards all
To let them cover up their lies?
Cause we all watched the buildings fall
Watched the scales fall from our eyes

A fire burns beneath Manhattan
Still we breathe with broken lungs
We act like none of this matters
Is that what we meant when we said That we'd sing what must be sung?

Are we fools and cowards all
To let them cover up their lies?
Cause we all watched the buildings fall
Watched the scales fall from our eyes

We want answers
Scream from the roofs
We want justice
We want the truth

I love you all very much.

Me

I forgot to tell you that my last post was my 50th which is exciting.

I can't even describe to you how tired i am right now.
getting up at 7, 3 days in a row, 9 hours of 1st aid course 2 days in a row, Work from 8-2 this morning and then a mandatory meating from 7-9... at least i got paid for it for 3 hours.
The reason this meating was soo mandatory is because our store is going through a lot of changes right now. I found out that in June Commission is done... HECK YES... SWEET Az...
and all those amazing celebrations.

Basically this means i will get a rase that will stay a fixed rate. And now i wont have to compete with any one for sales and i can actually be happy.

I would just like to say though... it may sound like i am rapped up in my job... but i'm not.

They have just scheduled me for some hours that go over my quota i will be cutting back for the next couple months. wow. I work 25 hours this week that is way too much.

I love the Job, I like the money i get from it... but it's a job, it wont last and most of all money will most deffinetly not bring ultimate happiness only God will... speaking of God..

I walked home in the dark from this meating tonight and had a one on one conversation with God... none of this Dear God... PLease help this... and Help me be a good little christian... Pfffff

This was a buddy on buddy talk... i found myself actually talking outloud as loud as i talk to you or you... but this was to no physical person... this was spiritual ... one of the best talks of my life. made me happy... funny how God can do that.

Anyways... Today was AMAZING!!! with tonnes of emphasis... and did you know a tonne ways 2000 pounds and in the plural form it ways much more... that's a lot of emphasis.
I worked from 8-2 brought home 2 new pairs of shoes hahahaha... it's ok i needed them... i threw away all my old ones. That's the one bad part about my job... it makes me want to buy stuff hahaha.
Matt came over right after that... And we made a video for liz to take with her to camp... it took hours... top secret but we had an amazing time shooting it...hahaha.
I told him it should go on youtube or facebook but... he said no and i am the one with the video soo i am pondering showing it.haha... but not without his consent.

Matt i love you if you're reading this.... you's one of my favourite peoples...
Even if you do shout at me ;y

Soo yes shoes make me happy especially when i find a pair that actually fits my feet and is comfy... i am farely picky about my shoes.

Another thing that makes me happy is close friends whom i talk to all the time... and can share my sorrows and joys with. I wouldn't make it if i didn't think about you all day! Thank you for reading my blog, even if it's boring sometimes.

-Josh-

*HUG + PAT ON HEAD = Oh happy day!
