Home

If you are my friend on Facebook you will already be aware of the fact that I have made the decision to go home to Kamloops for a few weeks to heal and rest. I will be focusing on geting rid of daily migraines and boosting my immune system. Doctors appointments are booked. I am also looking to get my wisdom teeth out. Needless to say I am in a miserable state and don't want to work while i'm like this. I would enjoy being around my family while i'm miserable, sorry family. :)

My mother took the liberty of doing some research for me. Thanks Mom. The amount of pills i've taken so far is wild.

I will keep you posted and let you know how the dentist and family doctor goes tomorrow.

New Years blogpost (obviously)

A year has come and passed and I have changed dramatically in a span of 365 days. I learned in 2012 that I am so much weaker than I thought...  that people around me deserve and need to hear encouraging words more often... and that I desperately need Jesus every single day more than I will ever know.

This past year I...
  • Was in the hospital with a major infection...twice.
  • Was on IV antibiotics... twice.
  • Got 10 stitches in a mangeled knee.
  • Spent a month on crutches.
  • Was sick atleast once a month the entire year.
  • Had an inexplainable splitting headache EVERY..single...day..
  • Saved the most money I've ever saved... and saw it taken away in a matter of  two months.
  • Had my first car accident.

This past year I also
  • Survived.
  • Learned patience.
  • Was healed.
  • Saw lives changed at Camp Homewood.
  • Finally... finally realized and chose where my treasures are stored. Not on this earth.
  • Still have, Love, and get to enjoy my family.
  • Found my new best friend. A woman who I could spend every moment with. A woman who makes me a better person. A woman I love.
These positives outweigh the negatives a billion times over. Thank you God.

My 2011 resolutions were a gong show and a let down. My 2012 resolutions I kept pretty darn well.
Last year.
  1. Drink more water. I drank an average of a litre and a half a day. Which is terrible... but so good for me.
  2. Read more books. Did it up... also read my Bible waaay more consistently
  3. Blog more. Tied the year before.. kinda let that one down.
THIS 2013 YEAR.

  1. Complement more people
  2. Treat my body better
That's it!!!

New Years Camp was a great experience and a huge success again!! Great to see everyone again and make kids laugh and smile again.

Oh and Christmas... oh dear. BEST CHRISTMAS of my life. :)

I love you all so much! I can't wait to see what 2013 brings. Lets glorify God together in everything we do!!
